Dor Beetle

Because Dung Beetle was too indelicate a name for science?

(note: it is on the good, clean mud of the footpath, from which I removed it before I left, so it didn't get trodden on)

One of the Spa stones has gone, but it lasted surprisingly long for the location - at  shoulder-height beside a busy footpath.

I chose not to replace it, or the Hambury barrow stone, today,  because I thought the beetle would make a good blip :)
