The Leaper mascot is my latest acquisition and signifies my love of the iconic brand. It was offered to me by a friend who no longer needed it. The history of this specific item is not known sadly. But what makes me happy is the knowledge that it is an original item, bearing the marks of years of service, mounted as it would have been on the bonnet of a fine early model. Possibly a MKl or MKll. Who knows? But I like it and had fun photographing it in front of our log burning stove.


My cheeks are burning, and it is not because someone is talking about me.
