A frosty start. By 9.15 there was a weak sun but it was never enough to give any warmth. Laundry and food prep in the morning and after lunch I wandered to the garden centre.  I wanted orange tulip bulbs and peanuts. No tulips I liked and the peanuts were heavier than I expected to carry home so the birds will have to go hungry until I go with the car.

The indoor Christmas displays are nearly finished. I had a good look . . . partly because it was nice and warm and also everything seemed new this year. Last years goods were the same as the year before and the year before that. Outside the Christmas trees haven’t arrived yet but there was one left from last year. A bargain (not) reduced to £45.

I’ve missed posting for two days. I have the photos and will fill the gaps sometime.
