Still Sniffling on Sunday

As I’m still testing Covid positive, I had to let St Luke’s down helping out with the sound for Café Church this morning. Thankfully I’m told that all went well, and it was a good morning with some new people coming along.

Needing to launder the bedding, I uncovered and wiped down the rotary line in the garden only to try the intermittently defunct tumble dryer and find that it actually worked today. I then pushed my luck too far and did a load of towels which the cussed thing refused to dry, and they’re now slowly turning into sheets of cardboard on a clothes airer in the kitchen :-(

A few people have sent text messages to continue wishing me well, but otherwise it’s been a very quiet day.

Many thanks to Marlieske for hosting the DerelictWeek challenge. Plenty of dereliction in my own garden currently! My blip features some detail from one of the chairs belonging to the bistro set that Mum and Dad bought years ago. I have earmarked it for an attempted refurbishment with the help of some sandpaper and a tin of black Hammerite paint. Along with the rust, the chairs now have green added to the colour palette courtesy of the rather wet year we’ve had. It may already be too late to rescue them.
