The last hurrah

I had hoped a few more of these would ripen outside but we aren't getting enough sun I think so have finally picked them and brought them in to ripen near the bananas!!
A quiet day recovering from a bad nights sleep.. cheese dreams I think tossing and turning all night. 
Picked the last of the apples too so will deal with the damaged ones and hope to keep the others stored for a little while at least. They have been delicious so far this year.. best tasting ones for years. 
Daughter has turned up to collect mail and is now sewing up a wrap for a gift of a knife sharpening kit that I was given two years ago and that she promised she would do for me back then.. whooppee!! 
River still up .. a strong stream even thought the water level is back almost to normal .
