South Coast Scribblings

In all its glory!

The bottle brush is about as good as it gets at the moment - smothered in blossom. It's very popular with the bees - in fact, I think our garden is a bee paradise with the lavender and hebe plants as well as this!

Drove over to Littlehampton for a session with the osteopath this morning. Went well, although the leg did seem to be reacting a bit more than usual, but perhaps that was good. We're provisionally leaving a month before the next appointment, with the proviso that I must ring her and make an earlier appointment if I have problems. I drove back along the seafront and there quite a lot of people around enjoying the sun, but the area further along where there is no road and which is nearer the Arun river is usually a lot more busy than where I went. There was a lot of traffic on the road too, but it's always busy round here.

A man is coming round this afternoon to see about replacing the remaining wooden fascia boards with PVC, also the overhang outside the front door - which is still asbestos, which definitely needs removing. It's just so he can give us quotes for the work. After that Tesco are delivering our fortnightly groceries, so there won't be a lot of relaxing in the garden until this evening methinks! (I did do some gardening yesterday evening just to get some exercise and Stuart is doing more today). Then a cool drink and a rest...
