no longer a mys-tree

Thanks to some cunning detective work by BikerBabe the mystery tree I blipped a couple of days ago, is not, as I'd hoped, a Dawn Redwood tree.  The clue is in the leaf pattern (alternate, not opposite).

Immediately behind me is a larger specimen (see extra) with the same leaf pattern.  I'm putting my money on a Swamp Cypress.  If the leaves turn red in the next few weeks, I'll do a wee jig down by the riverside.
