Life is like a river

Jumping!

But not for joy.

Today it's very cold outside, -10°C when I had my morning coffee, but a really beautiful sunny day.
The last few hours have mostly been spent looking outside the window, humans through the living room window, cat through the window in our front door. Loðvík has been meowing and pacing and trying to go out, but immediately returning when his paws got too cold.
Finally he ran down the steps and disappeared for a while, only to return again with a bird in his mouth - this time the poor feathered creature was still alive! It battled for it's life here in front of us and thankfully it managed to break free from its hunter. I hope it wasn't fatally injured... I just can't cope with those incidents again and again :(

Spent most of the day back-blipping photos from 2019, trying to fill some of the gaps in my journal.
Started with my niece's confirmation day in April.

In the news today:  The government’s cooperation has been terminated! Independence Party ends coalition - election is imminent.
