Hell Corner

This is the first corner after the start of the Bathurst Car Races. If you can get around there without a prang you are doing well. The race had  in fact the least accidents ever. The commentary team says it’s the best race track in the world, seeing I have been to so few I can’t comment but it is the talk of the town for a few weeks every October (and all the other races they hold during the year). In extras I have a few shots of the track from the helicopters which are flying overhead all day.

We stayed home and welcomed our son Bryan, Kristy and the boys. They are staying the night as their house is being rented out for race teams. Cooking for 8 is a bit of a job these days. Most of our saucepans hold enough for 2 or 4 but I have to dig in the back of the cupboards to find the big stuff. We have a double bed and a spare single so I’ve got 3 mattresses on the floor for the younger boys. 

6/7 jobs done on the ‘list’. I’m exhausted…
