Netted
I mentioned recently that we had been making hoops for a net to cover the boysenberries. The first 1/3 (at the far end here) went well, but then we found the new net wasn't quite wide enough so had to make do with used bits of old netting. So it's far from perfect with a few patches to holes being needed. It will probably do the job this year and, if so, we'll buy some better sized netting next year and replace it. It's not just the berries that need protection. Without cover the birds nip off all the new shoots.
