Rain Glorious Rain

And did it ever. The first really good downpour in the best part of a year, I should think. Real Spanish rain, so heavy you can barely see out of the windscreen with wipers on max.

And then a couple of hours later, it hardly looks as though it has rained at all.

But the gardens are well watered, the reservoirs just a tiny bit less empty and there is that fresh, damp smell everywhere that makes such a lovely change from hot dry dust.

And the forecast is for more of the same over the next few days.

As long as the boys and I can dodge it when we have to go out, I shan't mind a bit.
