Not of my making

I do have photos that I took at parkrun but prefer this one of me at parkrun, with Yvonne and about to be overtaken by Colin and Alfie.

Yvonne and I both felt less than 100% but I encouraged her to walk with me to the end when I caught her up near the lake.  Barbara who is recovering from surgery had improved so much in a week and overtook us with her stick and Colin and Alfie passed us next.

Alfie has completed parkrun twice before with one of the faster runners and said he enjoyed it much more at the back of the pack.

There were around 50 'ribbon runners' taking part. Raising awareness and funds for SANDs, during baby loss awareness week.  I overheard a few conversations about their babies and struggles on the way round. Touching. 

I did a bit of gardening between showers in the afternoon and cleared a few fishing bits from the garage via a free cycle site.
