Sweaters Over Everything

My final time as a volunteer steward at Ilkley Literature Festival.
A lunchtime session at All Saints Church was a sell out for the popular TV gardener :Carol Klein.
A really enjoyable event and she sold a lot of books, she did a signing session in the foyer and the long queue for her to sign them snaked back into the venue.
Afterwards l went home to change as Rebecca picked me up on her way to be in Leeds for 6pm to collect Kitty from Northern Ballet.
We parked up and then went to a couple of stores l never normally frequent for Kitty to spend her birthday money on a pair of jeans, some baggy joggers and a tshirt , the de rigour uniform of teenagers at the moment.
Then to Meat Liquor for burgers , another venue l don’t frequent often but they do make very good quality burgers.
This meant l didn’t get home until late so had missed Strictly so watched it on catch up.
No time to write my views on that now but the contestants have gravitated into three groups of ability, more about that tomorrow.
