Evening out with my sister

Started with parkrun this morning, best time this year ✔️
Walk in Cardinham woods with dogs and friend, followed with coffee in Woods café.
This evening out with my sister to celebrate the publication of "Give Him a Little Earth" a story inspired by the finding of human bones on the north Cornwall coastal footpath.
In 2022 human remains were found following bad weather and erosion. Once the police dismissed it as a recent burial the archaeologists took over. Research has shown it was a stockily built man with well developed muscles. Carbon dating between 1580 and 1790. He had a healed broken nose and erosion of his teeth, probably from holding rope or something similar in his teeth. Further tests showed he was born in the Gloucestershire region of England and ate a diet of lamb and fish.
Money collected from the evening will go towards his burial in Padstow church with a headstone, and the rest goes to the RNLI
