Calm Cunningsburgh

Rainy and breezy first thing,  showers throughout the day.  A calm afternoon, breezy and showery tonight. 

Up at 5am, a 6am start at work this morning, additional work covering the weekend.  I was on the north beat, cleaning the Lerwick streets.  Harbour café for breakfast after work, nipped to the supermarket, then back home to chores.  After lunch, I headed down to Laura's, saw mam too.  A fine quiet evening at home, last walkies, then early to bed again. 

While at Laura's, we headed out for a walk with the dogs.  The sun tried to break through, and the breeze came to a total calm.  As we walked along, enjoying the peace and quiet, it felt like ot would stay this way all day.  On our way back, the wind suddenly picked up, bringing threatening clouds but we made it back dry.  Laura, Shaun and Olly enjoying the calm afternoon at the Aithsvoe pier, Cunningsburgh.
