Galah gala
Thanks for all of the comments on yesterday's blip. Miles had his first day in family daycare today as Gina's getting ready to go back to work. We'd rather he was looked after by a family member, but that's a choice that we've made by living overseas!
We're hoping that we'll be able to set up a childcare cooperative with our other new-parent friends in a few months when everyone gets back to work, but for now - he's with the childminder! Both Miles and Gina did very well today, and I'm proud of them both for just getting on with it with a change in schedule. Hopefully things'll remain good!
Anyway, as I cycled in this morning I was in for a real treat - there was a flock of around 10 Galah just hanging around in Edinburgh gardens. I've never seen so many up in a tree - normally they seem to stay on the floor pecking at the ground.
This one was more playful than the others and managed to steal the blip limelight!
