Yesterday
They showed the old (1949) movie The Third Man on TV yesterday. When the movie was new, everybody was crazy about it. So was my brother. Being too young at the time, I didn't see it. Today it is considered a classic, so decided to watch it, but sorry sorry sorry didn't get very far. It was not to my taste at all. Running in Vienna's sewers didn't amuse me.
Being desperate I wrote to my Good Old Friend and told her again of my loneliness. She wrote back, as she always does, comforting me with real warm words. When in my letter I had asked her if I should turn back to watching TV (I haven't had TV since 2003) she suggested Netflix saying that there is always something of quality if you want to spend the money.
I became curious, trusting her opinion, signed up right away, and have since then been watching the craziest most enjoyable movie I have seen in a long time. Beating any third men. The title Yesterday somehow rang a bell immediately.
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play...
