Enjoying the Sun

A pottering about sort of day.Had a catch up with Becky when she called in.We had a look at the pictures she had taken of the Northern Lights on her phone.Taken on the beach in Crosby with exposures of some three seconds they were brilliant.Phones are so good now that next time I upgrade my phone I may ditch the cameras.

Helen hasn't been so good on her foot the last couple of days and it still looks a very funny colour.She has more physio next week.

Set up a small propagator in the Cropley House today.It needs a bit of refurbishment but is in full working order.I will start sowing some perennials on it in the next few days.

Reading "Angle of Repose" by Wallace Stegner at the moment but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. His book "Crossing to Safety" is one of my favourite books of all time so I hope it will improve.
