Judas door
This is the main door into Abbots Hospital , or Hospital of the Blessed Trinity. In the High Street, Guildford. Founded in 1619 by George Abbott, Archbishop of Canterbury to provide homes for the elderly of Guildford. It is still used for this purpose today. The Judas door is a smaller door into Abbots Hospital in the larger door. Also sometimes known as a Wicket gate or doors.
