Tintern Cycle

Early afternoon we travelled to nearby Tintern Abbey (Monmouthshire, South Wales UK) to do a cycle ride to Chepstow. After a few miles cycling we were at the entrance to Tiddenham tunnel was shut until May 2025 (due to Bats!). Both of us thought it shut Oct 31st and didn't check before we set off. We're out tomorrow so the bikes can stay on the car.

The blipfoto is of Tintern Abbey (1131AD) taken across the River Wye from the cycle trail. Nice to capture the autumnal colours.

We're off out tonight for a meal and drink but it won't be a late one as we will need to be up about 8am for our cycle ride later tomorrow morning.
