Truly a Road Less travelled

Went up to a meeting in the Midlands, accidentally leaving my mobile at home. It’s so difficult to function without one now. Saw the Aurora from the hotel carpark via my colleague’s phone.
On way home the A14 was closed twice, one for a crash and then due to that delay then hit overnight resurfacing closure. Lots of diversions and couldn’t call S. to tell him not to worry when I came home hours later than expected. Picked up a bottle of wine and a bing meal for an exhausted late supper.
