We are blessed…

… with a mature selection of fruit trees and plants in the garden. Apples, pears, rhubarb, raspberries, gooseberries, strawberries and even grapes and a fig tree. The last two we’ve not tried to eat.

Today was another harvest day with apples being the produce of the moment. There were a lot of windfalls that could be rescued as well as some still clinging on to the trees.

V has taken the lead in sorting, cleaning ,cutting, and cooking them. I’ve helped a little but a genuine back problem causes pain if stooped over for too long.

I’ll do my best to help eat them.
