Somewhere….

Over the rainbow….. if only I could find that pot of gold.

For the past year I have been enquiring about my pension to see if I could afford to give up work.  In an ideal world I would like to be a ‘supply TA’ with the flexibility of being on parent duty (as an only child and parents in Cornwall I know it’s going to get tricky at some point), childcare duties as the delight of my expanding grandchildren continues and also to have holidays outside of school holidays.  I only received details in the last couple of weeks and sadly it’s not enough to give up.  I’m gutted and looks like I will be working for a few more years yet… unless my lotto numbers come in or I find that pot of gold.

The boys slept right through til 7:30.  However, I didn’t sleep so well.  The monitor they gave me for Hugo ( I have one here already for Oscar) ran out of charge and as he was downstairs in the study, I decided to sleep on the sofa so I could hear him if he woke up.

Another wet Tuesday (this is definitely a regular occurrence when I have the boys!!) but I managed to get O out on his balance bike between showers.

Dropped them home in the afternoon.
