Disappointing

Paddy and I enjoyed a quite long walk between downpours. We both like the cemetery and included it at the end of our walk.
We followed one of our routes, todays being one of the longer ones which covers most of the ‘block’ section paths. Whilst enjoying Paddy’s company I always keep one eye on the Commonwealth War Graves as a walk. The CWGC not only looks after the iconic headstones but also some private memorials one of which is shown in today’s photo. The charitable side of me would attribute the damage to being damaged in the recent storms but it shows no evidence of being struck by anything.

Drying the awnings etc from the weekend is not going well but dry days are ahead, interspersed with days of heavy rain though.
