Art museum

Took the Shinkansen again last evening from Kyoto back to Tokyo.  This morning we had several hours free before leaving for the airport so picked a place to visit within a few stops on the number 93 bus.  Turned out to be a really interesting place.  It's the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum.  It was built in the Art Deco style in 1933 as the residence of Prince Asaka.  The building itself is a work of art and it is currently running an exhibition of lighting.  The extras show some of the interior and one of the sculptures in the garden (Kaze by Kan Yasuda).  Now in Narita airport waiting for our slightly delayed flight back to Auckland.
