Pumpkin
The plant from "The Little Shop of Horrors" that took over our garden fence this summer produced at least six of these enormous pumpkin things. They are now being used as decor out front. The plant originated from - I think - one of the pumpkins The Husband brought home from town last year after Halloween was over, when people were chucking them out. As they started to rot, he put them in the compost and then - tada! - in the spring a vine appeared. This one, the largest, is well over 13 inches in diameter.
Spike, the little male with the first season spiky antlers from yesterday, showed up this morning with the ladies and children. No sign of the big bucks.
