EEG day

Bright wires, sticky
putty, smell of school dinners(?)
hospital day trip!

Ben was so good with his EEG today. He even closed his eyes when they told him to which he only learnt to do on demand quite recently, I was very proud. I was not impressed that the whole clinic smelled of school dinners but hey, what can you do?!
News on respite is not great, no easy solution for now which is a shame for all of us, Ben had been doing so well at accepting care from people other than mum and dad, as well as enjoying the different experiences too. Plus we’d been getting some breaks and spending more time with older teen but we’ll work through it all.
For now we’ve escaped to the North Pennines for some fresh air and rain to cheer ourselves up!
