Hanging out of the bathroom window at 5am!

Ok, it’s not the best photo of the Northern Lights (by a long chalk!) but it’s my personal record of the occasion. From 7pm onwards I was constantly popping out, hoping the clouds had cleared. Then at 5am I finally had a sky clear enough to show a purple glow. So I only got 4 1/2 hours sleep, but entirely self-inflicted!

Feeling better again today, but still testing a very definite positive, so N took Dad off to respite care on her own this morning as her husband is very vulnerable and she didn’t want to risk catching anything. However, the deputy manager, who was aware of the full situation, kindly gave me a lift over so I could spend a couple of hours helping Dad to settle in. It’s always so emotionally difficult, for both of us.

Beautiful sunny day, but a chilly 12 degrees. Thank you so much for all your kind stars and hearts for yesterday’s Robbie blip.
