Out of the Blue

A walk in the forest and I rocked up to the carpark having joined the Forestry Commission to get free parking at my favourite spot. 

I heard what I supposed to be a deer bellow and set off up the hill to try and find it which I didn't. I came back down through a silent and empty as I saw it forest to the car then headed to my normal dipper brook. The car park was devoid of cars and the picnic spot was devoid of picnickers. Suddenly the whole game changed there. It was sooo quiet and peaceful and it became apparent on the way back to the car  with a muntjac crossing my path nearly giving me a second  look ( Ooo  obviously my camo gear is working!). I sat on a picnic bench that there really were animals in the forest I'd never seen there or met there before. 
Just sitting silently on my own and it was like Disney the animals come to you. There was a fox cub which I thought initially was a cat then a stoat/ferret but he returned on his route which was seconds in Extra - try and spot him!
