Stinking Iris

Don't like this common name. I always knew it by it's scientific name, Iris foetidissima or "Roast Beef Plant" This alternative name is strange, but if you have a good imagination, it does smell slightly of cooked meat!! When the leaves are crushed. The photo shows the main attraction of this plant, it's bright orange berries exposed as the pod splits, and lasting for a few months.
