Mile Marker 131

That's the mile marker on the Glenn Highway, a national scenic byway. It indicates the distance from the beginning of the highway, which is in Anchorage.

The Glenn Highway runs near some mighty fine looking glaciers....all were too fogged in to properly photograph today.

But, the fireweed was spectacular!
