Into Birmingham today to see Becoming Nancy at the Rep, it’s a new musical, a genre that I don’t particularly love, with some notable exceptions like Hamilton, but this didn’t reach those heights for me. It was well received by the audience, some were very enthusiastic! It was cold and bright, and the trees outside the museum and art gallery looked beautiful in the sun.
