Scary times ..

.. in more than one way. 
We had a family coffee meetup at the Country Life Museum in East Kilbride this morning.  Daughter J came along this mooring as she has completed the work she had been concentrating on for weeks.  A and T were there also.  My sister A is awaiting test results she had taken last week, so that's more time we have to wait to find out how serious her condition is.    
The town centre is now quite desolate and more shops are closing every week and the coffee shops in the village are quite small.  The home baking and scones at the museum's cafe are very large and well priced.  They used to have a big display at Halloween for children, but it's a while since we've been to that as the children are now well into their teens. This gentleman is in the main foyer and fun for the young children who were there.
