Purple Phlox

I tried snapping photos of the motorcycle riders in the annual Father Fred Ride for Charity this morning dreaming I would capture a Tour de France-like quality of masses of bodies on bikes - not so!

Another wonderful weekend day but nothing else to blip until, after moving inside, I looked out and saw the day and water had turned gray providing a nice contrast to these purple phlox outside my window!
