Aurora borealis

This afternoon I visited Kanyl and strimmed his "wildflower lawn".  A faster job than I anticipated.  As usual I wondered round his garden looking for blips.  I took a number.

Clickychick and I went straight from Kanyl's to the local Wildlife Trust support group meeting.  This month's was about some of the Cumbria reserves including the two at Penrith and Eycott Hill just up the road from us.  I learned a lot.

We arrived home just after 9:00.  My Aurora App was showing 4 red bars CC has somebody who has technical knowledge who sends her updates.  I really couldn't face bundling up and heading out into the country to have a go so went out into the garden.  The blip and the extra are shots from the garden.

CC then wanted a shot of the aurora over the church so I added another layer plus gloves.  Unfortunately the aurora was fading by the time we were there.
