Squirrels Gone Wild

With Jax not home to protect us, the squirrels have taken over the patio and garden today.  To be fair, they have perfected ways to take over even when Jax is here, crafty things.  Anyway, usually Jax chases them off the patio so I took advantage of the day to fire off some pics.  This was my favorite shot of the day - I like the curve of the tail and the soft background.  

I've done a deep dive into setting up all the programmable buttons on my Z6iii and think I finally have it set up more or less the way I want.  I've tried to mirror it to the Z8 as much as I can, but there are a few things that are different.  I find when I am switching back and forth between the two cameras, it's very helpful to have as many of the function keys the same as possible.  

I've also done 2 loads of laundry today and made up Jax's next week of frozen treats.  I use Kongs to freeze soaked kibbles, pureed pumpkin and whatever else I have on hand.  We give Jax one in the evening while we are having dinner which keeps him busy.  We don't ever feed him from the table so he doesn't really beg, but he gets bored and gets into mischief.  So this is much easier.  

We watched "The Long Game" last night - great feel-good story but the acting came up a little short in my opinion.  Still, an enjoyable film.
