Admiral Sunshine

A funny old day. The Kitchin is largely complete, and I’m pleased with it. I think J would have loved it. I have a lot of instruction books as homework, and before I put anything back I’m advised to let the dust settle. And I may need some new things - for example an induction hob means new pans. Whilst the kitchin fitter and electrician were completing their tasks I was in another room on an online call with my brother and the celebrant who will be leading our dad’s funeral. She’s a cheery sort, dad would have liked her. Meanwhile I am wondering if I’m going down with something, definitely not 100%, a bit flat and lacking in energy.
All of which means it was good to see sunshine, and even better to see a red admiral on the rudbeckia.
