….............Today I met Paddington Bear
Has anyone else heard of the 'Paddington Bear Nationwide Trail'? Apparently there are 23 locations (between Lands End & John O'Groats, including one in Ireland) in the UK, where statues of 'Paddington Bear' can be found.
Today we went to Lands End so that I could be photographed with him. He's only been here since Monday, but apparently we've got a whole year for me to be photographed with all the Paddington Bear statues. Ann thought it could be my next project, but in reality, he's in a lot of places that I actually don't want to go. But never, say never. Maybe it could become my mission for the next year?!
…............And it wasn't all bad................. I had a lovely walk along the coast path to Sennen Cove and back, although for part of it I had to stay on my lead because signs kept saying there were ponies grazing on the cliffs. They weren't grazing on the cliffs. There were only four of them and they were all congregated around their water trough!!! But Ann obeyed the rules, so I stayed on my lead in the area where the signs said dogs had to be on their leads. Boohoo.
….............BUT, the best thing of today's walk was....................... Ann eventually got round to getting her FREE locals pass for parking at Lands End. There's a lot of walks that we can do from Lands End (and we get discounted entry into the attractions too not that Ann wants to go into any of the commeralised attractions) and it's pretty much the only place we can park. In the summer it costs £7 to park there which Ann considers is a lot, just to take me for a walk. But, we've registered now so are all up and running.

We'll be going on loads of walking adventures from Lands End now. YAY!!!
