Musing of a Lady

Moving Has Begun

After the stress of house hunting over the last few weeks,  we've shifted gears. My parents started packing up last week, despite not knowing where we'd end up. If you've been fofollowing my posts over the last few days, you'll know that we've found a rental in a village on the border between the provinces of Utrecht and South Holland. We had a painter (from our church) do some work downstairs and my parents have made several trips with the car, moving things over from Oudewater to Driebruggen (the village we're moving to).

Today, I've done quite a fews things at our old place. Packing up boxes, running errands and trying to find someone who's willing to let Little Man and me spend the weekend with them. As a family, we've decided that it's best that Little Man and I aren't involved in the bulk of the move, to avoid unsettling Little Man. He knows something is going on as there have been boxes and suitcases sitting around for ages now, but it's always harder when there's people going in and out.

My parents are at the new place and I've spend time working on my bedroom, whilst Little Man's asleep. He's been a darling!
