A boiler service was booked for ‘around midday’. At 11 o’clock there was a knock on the door.

By midday it was done and I was ready to go out. Couldn’t decide between Waterhead or Stock Ghyll (on a fungi hunt).

The lake won. When I arrived a group of paddle boarders were just setting off. I took photos. Then the Canadian canoes left. More photos were taken. Finally the kayaks departed and it was one of the last photos that I chose for my blip.
