Notredame Cathedral in Strasbourg

A day of promised rain which turned out to be mainly dry with some sun and wind.

We had a walking tour of Strasbourg with a local guide and learned about the way the city had changed from being in Germany to being in France on several occasions. Now settled as a major French city and an important place as far as the EU is concerned.

The changing nationality has resulted in very contrasting architecture. The shopping centre is interesting and features many local traders.
