Napier

We were up really early to see the sunrise in Gisborne. We then drove to Napier via Wairoa. The countryside was very pretty and the weather was much better than on yesterday's drive. 
Napier is a city with lots of Art Deco architecture. The earthquake of 1931 destroyed most of the buildings and they were rebuilt in the Art Deco style. The main blip is the old fire station which is now a restaurant.
Even the manholes have the motif on them. See extra.
