Wednesday: Back Down The Road

It was back down the road today on the two 1/2 hour trip to Placencia to attend part of one conference and then join the beginning of another.  I have no idea why everything seems to be taking place in Placencia at the moment.  I’m not complaining, though, it’s a lovely venue.

My colleague, Humberto, and I had somehow misunderstood my colleague who made the bookings and thought we were staying in the super swanky resort. Imagine our disappointment when we turned out to be wrong and had to trundle off down the road.  That said, this is my view so it’s not like we’re somewhere dreadful.
