Classic summer view

I had to replace a curtain rail at my mother in law's this morning.

On the way back home I took the scenic route and stopped to take this traditional view of Edinburgh from the Braids. The haar that was to dog the Open at Muirfield had lifted and the sun picked out the colour of the weeds.

If away on holiday we'd be stopping all the time to take photos. So it was good to take a moment and appreciate what is around us every day.
