Virginia Beach ...

... here we come!

As our travel time today to Virginia Beach was supposed to be about 6-7 hours we wanted to be on the road by 9:30 am.  It was a little later than that ... but was before 10 am.

It was a long day in the car ... ending up taking 7 plus hours.  But it really felt like a lot longer.

We arrived at our hotel in Virginia Beach around 5:30 where we got checked in and unpacked.  There is a nice restaurant/bar across the street from the hotel where we had supper before taking a walk on the beach.  My picture is the ocean (Atlantic) view from the balcony of our room. I think we are going to like it here.
