Making a start.

Our living room has been in need of a refresh for some time (years not months!). The down side of living with a painter and decorator is that they never want to work at home!

Anyhow - we’ve made a start. The chimney breast has been a glorious purple - but looked dated , so after doing some work on the cornice he ‘cleaned ‘ his brush on the chimney breast to start lightening it.

We can’t agree on colours currently - but I love colour in all it’s bright and vibrant shades and he would have everything beige. It could take some time before I convince him!

Duluth colour of 2025 is a yellow called true Joy. I love it, apparently it is the colour of the contents of a baby’s nappy. It really could take some time.
