Recording

My friend Halima, who I've helped before with recording of songs she's been working on, called a few days ago saying that she had a new song going and wondered if I could help her recording it. I'm always happy to help, even if I know from experience that her lack of experience means that she can't quite foresee how long things will take in a recording environment. I won't go into detail but she'd set aside two hours for recording from start to finished, five and a half hours later we had to stop because our energy had run out long ago. We finished the recording but could well have used more time. 
She was happy with the result though, which is what counts but the next step for her is to send it off to the person who composed it and hear his verdict on if he thinks it's good enough.  So, there might be a follow-up...
