Geocaching trip

We went geocaching in Mere Sands Wood at Rufford. The forecast was for light rain and the sun to peep out from white clouds. It chucked down!
We did a puzzle cache on the way there, found all 12 caches in the trail, found another puzzle cache and an earthcache at the end, on the way home.
We had to pay £4 to park at Mere Sands Wood and we were tempted to try the cafe at the end of our walk till we saw the prices and opted to stick to our flasks at the cars. We aren't tight but £3.10 for a cup of tea is ridiculous - especially when you think it probably won't be as nice as your own brew. It's a lovely place though.
There was lots of different types of fungus along the trail and I particularly liked this spot as it had more than one kind.
We enjoyed the geocaching trip, despite the weather - it's nothing compared to what's arriving at Florida tonight. They have already had some tornadoes hit there ahead of the main part of the hurricane. I'm hoping that the evacuations prevent loss of life but looking at that monster of a hurricane, I fear for the people.
