Spiky Treasures
I picked these up recently on a walk to the park with the kids and thought they'd be interesting to photograph. I love the way the seeds are bedded into the soft fluffy interior, all housed by these intimidating spikes.
Unfortunately I left it a bit late to take my photograph today and the light was fading fast - I'm not adjusting well to the shorter days of October. And I would have liked them to have looked a bit sharper, the spikes are less forgiving to a 'soft' focus.
However, another reason I like blipping is that on fairly unremarkable outings I'm noticing things to forage away for future photos.
