A happy find

Discovered these on this afternoon’s Biskit walk, well more of an amble in the field out back.   A couple should liven up tonight’s chicken casserole.  I don’t think we will upset too many fairies.
 
They are of course ‘Fly agaric’.  They apparently lose their hallucinogenic  properties if cooked properly (I don’t think I’ll try).
 
 
Picked up the hound early this morning.  He had had a bad night and was sick in the wee small hours, and was feeling very sorry for himself, so I shot over and picked him up about half six before Pam and Adie left for work.  He’s actually been right as rain all day, but he hasn’t tried tonight’s casserole yet . . .
